這個獨立日，我沉思假如希拉莉當總統今天美國會如何。
首先，司法部／FBI等情報機關的骯髒侵犯人權的勾當不會被揭發（並且一定會延續，民主自由逐步消失），克林頓家族利用基金會斂財的秘密將永遠被掩蓋，我們永遠不會知道美國的民主制度腐爛到一個甚麼程度。特朗普總統清洗沼澤困難重重，因為整個司法系統都被左翼份子牢牢控制，相信四年甚至八年也未必能夠徹底清洗，但起碼現今有一個開始。
第二，美國的外交政策會重覆過去的軟弱、混亂、和全球一體化的錯誤路線，會繼續被蘇俄、北韓、伊朗牽著鼻子走。我一想起希拉莉，便想到在利比亞慘死的幾個美國人（包括領事Christoper Stevens）。美國在國際的地位將會持續下滑，回教國家與蘇俄勢力在國際必定擴張。
第三，假如是希拉莉當政，美國會繼續走向社會主義，邊境將大開中門，移民再沒有合法非法之分，美國人要繼續供養這些家庭，稅項必定增加，減稅絕不可能，奧巴馬全民健保必定變為國營，其實single-payer正是他們原來的目標。美國經濟將會繼續奧巴馬時代那種「半生不死」的狀況，社會主義帶來「均貧」（除了得到特殊利益者）。
第四，希拉莉早已提名Merrick Garland當最高法官，現在再加另一個左傾的最高法官，從此30-40年左翼法官佔大多數。全國大麻合法化、全國安樂死合法化、中小學男女同廁同浴等自由放縱的法律必定來臨，美國憲法將會名存實亡。
第五，奧巴馬時代仇視和迫害以色列的政策將會延續甚至加劇，奧巴馬下台前正強迫以色列回到1967年六日戰爭前的邊界，連東耶路撒冷（聖殿山和哭牆所在地）都要歸給巴勒斯坦阿拉伯人，以色列定不會遵從，可能會引起中東戰爭。
假如是希拉莉當總統，在獨立日我們只能緬懷美國過去的風光，但前景則欠奉。我們會聽到希拉莉很政治正確的演說，而不是特朗普那種in-your-face的表達方式，但我們不會聽到真心話，只看到假笑和只聽到假話。
美國出現像特朗普這樣特別的人，在這個時代做如此特別的事，上帝可謂相當幽默，也對美國有恩典和憐憫。我們距離整個國家跌進萬劫不復只有半線之差，能在懸崖勒馬重新振興委實是個神蹟！我們要向天父感恩，要對恩典珍惜。

寫在2018年國慶前夕
On this Independence Day, I meditate on what would happen if Hillary were elected President of the United States.
First, all the human rights violations at the Department of Justice/FBI and the other intelligence agencies will not be revealed (and will surely continue, thus democracy and human rights will gradually disappear). The secrets of the Clintons using the so-called family foundation to accumulate wealth will always be concealed. We will never know to what extent the American democratic system has rotted. It is difficult for President Trump to drain the swamp because the entire judicial system is firmly controlled by the left-wingers. I believe that four or even eight years may not be sufficient to thoroughly drain the swamp, but at least it has started.
Second, US foreign policy will repeat the wrong path of weakness, chaos, and globalism. Soviet Russia, North Korea, and Iran will continue to lead, rather than the U.S. As soon as I thought about Hillary, I thought of the four Americans (including ambassador Christoper Stevens) who died a tragic death in Benghazi, Libya. The status of the United States internationally will continue to decline, and the Islamic countries and Soviet forces are bound to expand their influence internationally.
Third, if Hillary is the President, the United States will continue to move toward socialism. Open border will blur the distinction between legal and illegal immigrants. American taxpayers will continue to fund welfare programs for these families. Taxes will increase, and tax cuts will never be possible. Obamacare will be state-run, as a “single-payer” system is their original goal. The U.S. economy will languish just like it was during the Obama era. Socialism will bring poverty to most people (except for those with special interests).
Fourth, Hillary will have already nominated Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court, and she will now add another left-wing supreme court justice. Left-wing justices will dominate the next 30-40 years. We can expect the national legalization of marijuana, euthanasia, and same sex bathroom and shower in all public primary and secondary schools. The Constitution will exist in name only.
Fifth, the policy of hatred and persecution of Israel in the Obama era will continue or even intensify. Before Obama stepped down, he was forcing Israel to return to the border before the 1967 Six-Day War. Even East Jerusalem (where the Temple Mount and the Wailing Wall are located) will be given to the Palestinian Arabs. Israel will surely defy such orders sure, and war could break out in the Middle East.
If Hillary is the president, we can only reminisce about America’s past glory on Independence Day. Future prospects will be dim. We will hear Hillary’s smooth politically-correct speeches, not Trump’s in-your-face talks. But we won’t hear the truth, but only fake smiles and lies.
Trump is the special man for the season who is called by God to do special things at a critical time in America’s history. In doing so, God has shown a sense of humor. He also has shown grace and compassion to the United States as we were only a half-step from falling into the abyss. It is a miracle that we have someone like Trump to save America. We must be grateful to God for His grace, and we must cherish such grace.
